Quality Perspectives is a consulting firm offering a broad range of services to health and education clients. Services include project management, training, program development & evaluation, strategic planning, and proposal writing. 

Founded in 2007 by Allyson Schulz, MPH, Quality Perspectives is a woman-owned business with a passion for quality and an emphasis on teamwork and mutual respect. Our clientele includes consulting firms, foundations, community groups, and municipal agencies. We collaborate with clients and use data-driven decision making to shape the organization’s future and help improve performance.

Allyson Schulz is the owner and manager of Quality Perspectives. She has eighteen years of consulting experience and is an energetic professional with a passion for quality. Schulz supports public health agencies in Connecticut and across the nation. Specialties include project management, writing emergency plans, integration of Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) principles into all activities, volunteer recruitment and training, and drill/exercise design (virtual and in-person). In collaboration with Facente Consulting, a California-based firm, Allyson co-led emergency preparedness work for a Healthcare Coalition in Indianapolis and a four-county health department in Nevada. She conducted a review of COVID-19 response for two large public health agencies in the western US.  

Schulz has also facilitated community collaboratives in their planning work:  one on health enhancement and seven others in improving school readiness among young children. For these clients she facilitated planning workgroups and conducted research and analysis including survey design, focus groups, and key informant interviews. For another collaborative, Allyson led the design of a new universal home visiting program for postpartum families.
